A "Peachy" Open House at Peaks of Otter Winery. Sample peaches, nectarines and apples that we make into wine. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy our pavilion. Purchase a bottle of wine and enjoy it while walking out through the orchards and vineyard. Families will enjoy our farm animals. Summer Saturday Concert at West Wind Farm Vineyard and Winery featuring music by DOC GREENBERG'S PATIENT JAZZ (Jazz, Blues) 6 to 9pm. Tickets are $10 per person.  Bring your blankets and chairs, but please leave coolers and outside food and beverage at home.  We will be offering food and beverages for purchase, including our famous Sangria and Wine-a-Ritas!

Johnny Appleseed knew that "an apple a day would keep the doctor away", long before medical science discovered that three apples a day helped with stomach, colon and other medical problems. DIONYSUS WINE FESTIVAL. NATIVITY OF THE THEOTOKOS GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 12326 SPOTSWOOD FURNACE ROAD FREDERICKSBURG, VA 22407. SEPTEMBER 10 from 11 A.M.- 5 P.M. $20 ADVANCE $25 AT GATE. Who better to host a wine festival than the Greeks? You've been to our food festivals - now sample the wines of local wineries, and the most popular wines of Greece. Greek and American food, vendors, and entertainment provide for a fun-filled day. Admission fee includes wine tasting, and souvenir glass. Reserved table packages are also available for $300 in advance only, and include seating for 8 under a tent, sample platters, bottled water, and souvenir glasses for eight guests. Advance purchase begins August 21, 2011, by calling 540-273-0640, emailing jtreker11@comcast.net, or stopping by one of our ticket outlets. Advance tickets will be available until Thursday, September 8. Children 5 and younger are free. ABC regulations state ticket holders must be 21 years of age to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages. Proper identification is required. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
