2011 Pennsylvania Wine EventsNovember 11
The Cradle of Wine:
Republic of Georgia - Former Soviet Georgia, the oldest
wine producing region of the world, is located at the very same
latitude as Southern France and Central Italy - the latitude that
hosts many of the world's finest vineyards. Georgia has the best
terroir you've likely never heard of. We are elated to
offer you world-class wines, a world-class wine speaker, and
several delicious authentic-Georgian mini-appetizers! Georgian
wine expert Dr. Laurent Guinand, president of GiraMondo Wine
Adventures, will present 10 fine Georgian wines to the PWS.

Wine and Cheese
Tour of Lancaster County - Whether we are sampling cheeses
made from goat, sheep or cow's milk - you won't know until we
drive into the farm. These are small family businesses that often
don't even have a sign - we've twisted their arm into conducting a
tour/tasting. Our wine tours have taken us to nearby Chester and
Berks Counties and all over Lancaster, which is fast becoming
known for its wines. We travel the backroads and end the day with
a multi-course wine-tasting gourmet dinner. We are in our sixth
year of tours. $175/person. Visit www.lancastercountytours.com
for more information.
