April through July
The
GPS Adventure
. For the truly
venturesome, consider our GPS mystery tour.
Visit our web site, click on ‘GPS Adventure’ to
obtain the longitude and latitude numbers for an unidentified
winery location along one of the state’s six Wine Trails.
Punch the coordinates into your hand held or vehicle GPS.
When you arrive at the destination winery, solve a series
of riddles while you sip some great regional wine.
IF you can solve the riddles, you will be eligible for a
drawing to spend a luxurious overnight at one of Ohio’s most
elegant lodges and resorts.
The ‘tour’ will be repeated monthly beginning in
April and extend through July.
One winner will be awarded on each of the six wine trails
each month, so you have 24 chances to win and escape !!
There is no cost to participate in this GPS Adventure,
but you must solve those riddles! Lodgers

Hill Vineyard's
Summer Grand Opening weekend swings into full gear. The winery
was remodeled (again) this spring and we now have a new
indoor cafe, tasting bar and bathrooms.
May 26
Lakeside Vineyard & Winery
will be holding a Family Day event on Monday, May 26. Come out
to the winery and enjoy a laid back day filled with family
friendly activities for all ages - volleyball, badminton, horse
shoes, frisbee golf, bocce ball and corn hole will be available.
Plenty of tables and chairs will be out, the charcoal grills
will be fired up and ready to go. Guests can bring a picnic
basket and cook up their steaks, hamburgers and hot dogs.
Everyone's favorite Lakeside Vineyard wine will be available. In
addition to the seven wines released last year, three new blends
will be available for tasting and purchase by the glass. These
exciting new wines include Therapy, a barrel aged Cabernet;
Brilliance, a dry white; and Reggae, a sweet red. This is a free
event and will run from Noon until 8:00pm.

Vineyards. Wow! This was a real surprise during
our 2007 'Labor Day Open Mike' session. I'm amazed that we
have this level of talent within a 20 mile radius of Harmony
Hill. Michael Rickey is a singer/songwriter whose acoustic/
electric style is a blend of Dave Mathews and Lyle Lovett.
We are very pleased that Michael has agreed to take center
stage to play both cover and originals for what is sure to
be a great evening of entertainment.

singer/songwriter from Loveland who has written and recorded
a myriad of songs and lyrics. He is an accomplished keyboard
and acoustic guitar musician whose most recent
accomplishments include the release of "Dedicated
Man", a compilation of 13 original songs on CD that
have enjoyed modest international airplay and sales. This
Friday, Scott will perform every song he has ever written,
plus covers from artists such as Croce, Lightfoot, Taylor,
Chapin and many others. If you enjoy the music of the
seventies and eighties, this is an evening you don't want to
miss. Scott was a popular and welcomed entertainer at
Harmony Hill in 2007, and with additional professional gigs
under his belt, we're sure he'll shine in 2008.

and Karen Dietrich. Playing covers and originals, they

folk rock, or Folk-n-Roll, they have performed
regionally in various venues including bars,
coffeehouses, wineries and festivals. Meridian is
currently working on their first full-length CD.

The inaugural Oxford Wine & Art Affair in
Oxford, OH for June 27 & 28 from 3:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
A tasting of Ohio Wines from several area Vineyards.
The tasting will be held in our beautiful uptown parks.
There will be live music in the pavilion in the park as
well as an art walk through the quaint, brick street,
business community. There will be cooking
demonstrations, wine education classes and historical
tours offered. There will even be children's
activities offered to keep younger attendees entertained.

Art & Garden Festival -
September 13, 2008. This
one-day event features wine tasting by local wineries, wonderful
artists stationed throughout the village and a select group of
garden and craft vendors set up on the sidewalks of Roscoe
Village.
Guests can stroll through the gardens of Roscoe Village or
take part in a 'Park & Walk' tour of private gardens above
